Chemyunion presents three posters at 29th IFSCC Congress

The Committee on Scientific Affairs (COSA) contemplated Chemyunion with three approvals for Poster Presentations among more than 450 submissions from companies, universities and cosmetic research centers around the world.

The theme of the Congress this year, Beyond Dreams Into New Frontiers / Inspire, Imagine, Innovate will bring the latest breakthroughs of Cosmetic Science. Specific topics will be addressed as " Emerging market trends and insights", "Delivery systems and cosmetic vehicles", "Sun protection", "Biomimicry", "Beauty with magic of colors", " Marketing to the senses ", "the Science of fragrances", " Breakthrough concepts in skin biology and microbiome", "Hair care technology" in addition to the themes "Beauty has no borders", "Sustainability" and "Regulatory compliance versus Innovation".

The Chemyunion´s studies to be presented during the congress are:
Biological moisturizers and its mechanism of action. The aim of this study was to understand comprehensively the Biological moisturizing mechanism of action, this study developed a specific experimental design, applying advanced in vitro, ex vivo and clinical trials.

New Technology to Obtain a Cosmetic Active with the Advantage of the Mechanical Properties of Fibroin for Hair Treatment. The objective of this research was to develop a cosmetic active based on fibroin to improve the mechanical properties besides providing resistance boost in different hair types, damaged or not.

Position: Head – Hair Therapy and Clinical Tests

Degree in Pharmacy from the Methodist University of Piracicaba (UNIMEP), Brazil, Master in Pharmaceutical Sciences and PhD in Sciences, at the University of São Paulo (USP), Brazil. Flávioacts today as R&D Head at Hair Therapy and Clinical Tests areas of Chemyunion with major focus on developing active ingredients for hair care products. He is also in charge for the development of the studies protocols for verification and claims substantiation of the cosmetics formulations for hair and skin.

Association of Pickering stabilization and organogelation to confer stability for cosmetic emulsions (Emulfeel) The objective of this research work was to study the ability of some organogelators to improve stability of emulsions, promoting gelation and Pickering stabilization of oil globules, when the emulsion is prepared by a cold process.

Degree in Food Engineering from the State University of Campinas (Unicamp), Brazil, Master in Food Sciences at the University of Guelph (uoguelph), Canada, currently a PhD candidate at the State University of Campinas (Unicamp), Brazil. Daniele acts today as R&D Manager at Emulsion Technology area of Chemyunion with major focus on developing innovative solutions to market that help in the formation of structured emulsions to improve stability, sensory and appearance of cosmetic products processed cold.
