Childs Farm, the UK-based baby and child care brand, has appointed three new members to its leadership team, led by new CEO Robert Bridge.

Bridge joins the brand bringing 20 years' experience in a variety of marketing and digital roles for major companies including John Lewis, Yahoo! and most recently as Chief Customer Officer at Telegraph Media Group.

In his new role, he will report to Childs Farm founder and owner Joanna Jensen.

Alongside Bridge, Bogdan Ionescu and Phil Durham have also joined the brand as CFO and Commercial Director respectively.

Ionescue has worked for leading FMCG brands including The Coca-Cola Company, Dyson and SlimFast, as well as supporting a variety of UK food and drink start-ups.

Meanwhile, Durham has a held a number of positions at Sainsbury's in the last six years, most recently as Head of Buying for Personal Care.

Commenting on the appointments, Jensen said: “We’re a disruptive, challenger brand so wanted to bring in people with left-field experience as well as safe pairs of hands to complement them.

“Robert brings expertise in reaching consumers through multiple channels, especially digital, and has proven success in leading businesses.

“Bogdan and Phil complete the perfect management trio to take Childs Farm to the next level.

“My focus now is on doing things only I can do, and that I love the most – maintaining our excellent creativity and brand punch including new product creation, sustainability and being the Global Ambassador for the brand.”

Bridge added: “What Joanna has created in Childs Farm is extraordinary.

“The ingenuity, drive and sheer bloody-mindedness to have achieved what she and the team have done is amazing.

“Securing Bogdan and Phil into the team gives us the experience and muscle needed to take the business to the next level in the UK and internationally.”

Today, Childs Farm is said to be the fastest growing baby and child toiletries brand in the UK, and is available in more than 7,500 stores and online with a presence in countries including Australia, New Zealand, China, South Africa, the Middle East and Thailand.
