Chinese luxury spend is forecast to slow this year, according to a new study by management consulting firm Bain & Co, which predicts the sector could see a double digit slowdown as economic challenges hit the country.

According to the study, Chinese consumer spend on luxury goods grew at 20% in 2018, accounting for a third of all luxury goods purchased globally.
