Japanese skin care brand SK-II has called upon six A-listers to appear in its new #BareSkinProject.
The initiative will feature Chun Sia, Kasumi Arimura, May Matsuoka, Ni Ni, Tang Wei and Chloe Moretz photographed make-up free to highlight their natural beauty.
The brand also reassures consumers that the photographs were not retouched before their release.
Leading the project, Mortez said: “It was so refreshing to hear about a campaign that aims to embrace women’s natural beauty and spark a movement of authenticity and confidence.
“I knew that this was a perfect fit for me and what I represent.”
SK-II will also reveal short films of each celebrity’s journey baring their natural look.
Shot by Magnum Photos, Moretz’s film will be realised on 29 June via YouTube and SK-II.com.
Sandeep Seth, SK-II’s CEO, added: “It’s still unconventional to see female celebrities photographed bare skin and through the #BareSkinProject, we hope to provide a different point of view.
“We are proud to partner with six brave personalities who share the same goal.”
