Church & Dwight acquires Batiste Dry Shampoo

Intends to grow UK business

Church & Dwight UK Ltd, a subsidiary of Church & Dwight Co Inc., has acquired the Batiste Dry Shampoo brand from Vivalis Ltd. Batiste’s addition to Church & Dwight’s brand portfolio is cited as further evidence of the New Jersey-based company’s intent to grow its UK business, headquartered in Folkestone.

Andy Routley, managing director of Church & Dwight UK commented: “The acquisition of the Batiste Dry Shampoo brand will drive further significant growth to our UK business, provide greater scale and be the springboard for additional growth over the coming months and years. We shall be working closely with all our existing partners to maintain the wonderful growth momentum of Batiste.”

Church & Dwight’s current portfolio of consumer brands includes Arm & Hammer, Pearl Drops and Nair.
