Clariant improves Aristoflex line

Published: 26-Jul-2010

Clariant’s Aristoflex line of rheology modifiers has been extended to include versions ideal for use in thin and high pH lotions. Aristoflex AVS uses sodium instead of ammonium, which addresses the original Aristoflex AVC’s shortfall in stability at high pH levels. It is therefore said to be an excellent choice for use in depilatory creams and cuticle remover formulations.

For thin formulations such as antibacterial hand gels, spray lotions and foundations Aristoflex BLV ensures a fast absorbing product with a non-tacky, velvety skin feel.
