Terramater introduces line of coloured clay minerals with natural and organic certification

Brazilian mineral ingredients company Terramater has launched a line of coloured clay minerals with natural and organic certification on the Japanese market. Claysomes are formed from micro-particles (vitamins and oils) derived from Brazilian plants, which act in synergy with minerals to promote ion exchange between the skin and the external environment. The material, says Terramater, can be used to develop face masks, skin care products and mineral make-up with added benefits.

According to the company, energised microparticles of zinc and copper in Claysomes act as miniaturised batteries when activated by moisture. These microparticles stay on the skin’s surface mimicking the skin’s native electrical signals to promote healthy skin function.
