Shelter Moisture protects and brightens

CoValence has developed Shelter Moisture, a new anti-ageing moisturiser for sensitive and rosacea prone skin that promises to protect, brighten and revitalise. The soft, white cream is paraben-free, gluten-free, and fragrance-free making it a gentle experience from application to absorption. There is a multitude of ingredients at work in Shelter Moisture that all contribute to increasing cellular oxygen supply and optimizing cell function.

Aldavine™, is a polysaccharide derived from red and brown algae that maintains the integrity of microcapillaries in the skin (rosacea prone skin needs the extra help). This increases cellular oxygen supply, thereby increasing cell function. Renovage™ is an anti-aging triglyceride that continually moisturizes, reduces signs of age spots, improves skin barrier function, and reduces appearance of fine lines. It also has a UV protective effect. Niacinamide is also involved in cellular respiration and is an antioxidant. It has anti-inflammatory properties, while improving epidermal barrier function, and inhibits skin pigmentation, making this perfect shelter for your skin.

Glycosaminoglycans inhibit collagen destruction, keeping the skin tight and healthy. Cytokinol® is a protein that stimulates inter-cellular communication and has a strong epidermal repairing effect, while also being soothing and anti-inflammatory. Antarcticine® is a glycoprotein exopolymer from the Antarctic Sea that protects the skin, while also boasting anti-wrinkle properties. Rhodiola Rosea Root Extract provides a protective effect against thermal stress, both hot and cold, and stimulates cellular respiration, making it possible for the skin to achieve maximum oxygen while still being sheltering skin from environmental pollutants.
