Packaging specialist Colep has been awarded several honours for its CSR and sustainability programmes.
It was awarded two Gold CSR ratings and three silver ratings by sustainability monitoring platform EcoVadis for its manufacturing sites.
EcoVadis assessments are carried out by independent analysts, covering a number of CSR criteria relating to the company’s size, location and industry, under four different themes: environment; labour practices & human rights; fair business practices and sustainable procurement.
Colep company pledged to make significant sustainability and CSR advances after launching its first Sustainability Report last year.
“We will continue to devote our resources to CSR initiatives and good sustainability practices and commit to ongoing sustainable development,” said Grant A. Coupland, Sustainability Director at Colep.
“These results are demonstrative of Colep’s ambition to become the preferred sustainability partner for its customers.”
