UK consumers are increasingly focusing on sustainability when it comes to choosing direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands, according to research by Rakuten Marketing.

In a study by the firm, British consumers still prioritise price (71%) and product quality (50%) as their main motivators when buying subscription-based services, sustainability (16%) and ethics (17%) are becoming increasingly important drivers.
