We are looking for an experienced Cosmetic Product Safety Assessor to operate within their cosmetics team. This can be located in one of their offices within the UK or home working maybe supported for the right candidate.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing scientific advice to clients and colleagues on cosmetic and consumer product regulatory requirements
- Project management, ensuring that projects are delivered to high standards, on time and within agreed budget
- Producing and maintaining Product Information Files and Cosmetic Product Safety Reports
- Adding product information to the CPNP
- Understanding of cosmetic regulations in the EU and other international regions.
Qualifications needed:
- B.Sc. degree or equivalent in chemistry, biology, or a closely related discipline is essential; an MSc in Toxicology would also be beneficial
- Proven experience of working with the EU cosmetics and chemical regulations and a thorough understanding of EU regulatory processes affecting cosmetics and consumer
- Experience of producing Product Information Files (PIFs), Cosmetic Product Safety Reports (CPSR) and notifying products on the EU Cosmetic Product Notification Portal (CPNP).
