Amelia Knight is seeking a new member of the Technical Team to work in regulatory compliance. Knowledge and experience of working to the EU Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009 is important. A degree in Cosmetic Science is not essential but is an advantage. Knowledge of raw materials used within the cosmetics industry would also be a plus point for applicants. Any customer facing technical experience or time spent in a cosmetics lab is also desirable.
Main duties will include:
- Reviewing raw materials against the Cosmetic Regulation
- Reviewing artwork for regulatory compliance
- Working within a team to approve or reject quality samples
- Sensory reviews of new formulations
- Working with 3rd party testing houses
- Potentially customer facing
