Cosmopolitan magazine's UK edition is making a jump from print and online to TV, with the launch of The Cosmo Body Show.

The health and fitness programme, which debuted on 13 January on Sky's FAB TV, follows Cosmopolitan Body, the magazine’s health and fitness offshoot and online offering. It will air every Tuesday night at 10pm for eight weeks.

The show covers topics including health, happiness, body confidence, modelling and eating disorders, with regular segments, including: 'workouts that work' by celebrity personal trainers including reality TV star and fitness entrepreneur Lucy Mecklenburgh; 'healthy eating how-to’s' from nutritionists and health food chefs explaining how to create meals that are delicious and nutritious; 'chic fitness fashion' and 'beauty tips and tricks'.

“We know from the success of Cosmopolitan Body that our readers have a real appetite for health and fitness content from a brand they truly trust,” said Ella Dolphin, Group Commercial Director at Hearst UK. “The Cosmo Body Show goes one step further by bringing the brand to life beyond the magazine and allows young women to experience and interact with the brand in a completely different way, at the same time as consuming the content they love.”
