Net sales turnover rose 13% to €279.3m
German cosmetics company cosnova Beauty, which is behind the Catrice and essence brands, recorded its highest turnover to date for fiscal year 2014.
The company reported a 13% increase in sales turnover during the past year, with a net sales turnover of €279.3m, up from €247.5m.
Christina Oster-Daum, owner and MD of cosnova Beauty, said: “Since establishing the company in 2001, we have ended each fiscal year with a double-digit growth in sales. This continued growth re-affirms that both of our cosmetics brands, essence and Catrice, remain a firm favourite of women of all ages around the world.”
The company expanded its retail channels in Germany and internationally last year; essence is now available in almost 80 countries, while Catrice is in more than 50 countries. Foreign markets generated more than 50% of our total sales and represented cosnova’s strongest sales region.
