Coty has appointed a new lead creative agency for its CoverGirl brand.
Droga5, an advertising agency based in New York, will immediately take on the make-up brand’s creative projects.
Ukonwa Ojo, Senior Vice President of CoverGirl, said the brand was "excited" to partner with Droga5. “Droga5’s creativity and partnership will help us bring a new perspective to beauty for this phenomenal brand,” she said.
Meanwhile, Droga5 said that it is looking forward to growing the brand’s influence in beauty and culture.
"This is a huge opportunity to bring a fresh point of view to a deeply loved American brand. CoverGirl has always sought to defy traditional beauty conventions and break boundaries through its inclusive approach, and we're looking forward to continuing to grow the brand's influence in beauty and culture,” added Droga5 Global CEO Sarah Thompson.
The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
