Marc Jacobs, Lady Gaga and David Beckham fragrances take home gongs

Coty’s extensive fragrance portfolio dominated last night’s Perfume Shop Love Perfume Awards, winning four accolades. Marc Jacob’s latest scent, Dot, won two awards – Best Women’s Launch and Best Bottle Design, while the much hyped debut fragrance from Lady Gaga took top honours in the Best Celebrity Launch category.

David Beckham, who has worked with Coty’s Beauty division on several fragrances, was awarded the Nose of the Year trophy.

The Perfume Shop’s Love Awards were voted for by the retailer’s customers and received more than double the number of votes cast in 2011. “The return of The Perfume Shop’s Love Perfume Awards has offered a fantastic opportunity to ask our customers what their favourite products are and ascertain which brands are most popular,” commented Michelle D’vaz, national advertising and PR manager. “Customer feedback is such an important part of our business and we continue to reflect on what our customers want in order to improve on our service and product range.”
