Tech company Mindbody has developed a new video platform to help brands reach their customers during the coronavirus pandemic.

The Virtual Wellness Platform allows beauty, wellness and fitness brands to upload pre-recorded videos to share with their customers via the Mindbody app and online.

According to the business, its site has seen a 500% increase in brands listing virtual classes.

“Mindbody has been developing our Virtual Wellness Platform solution for several months and we rapidly accelerated our timeline when the coronavirus pandemic hit,” said Minbody’s CEO and co-founder Rick Stollmeyer.

“Consumer activity across our platform indicates tremendous appetite for virtual wellness classes and other services during this global crisis.

“Thousands of our customers are responding to that demand and our goal with this Virtual Wellness Platform release is to equip them with the innovative tools they need to emerge from this crisis with even stronger businesses than before.”

Mindbody also hopes to develop live stream capabilities for businesses in the near future.
