Diane Kruger joins Chanel

Actress to front a new beauty campaign for the brand to be unveiled later this year

French beauty brand Chanel has named American actress Diane Kruger as its latest brand ambassador. Kruger joins Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen, who was announced in February as the new face for Chanel’s Les Beiges campaign, along with Nicole Kidman, Audrey Tatou and Vanessa Paradis, who are also Chanel ambassadors.

Kruger is said to have been chosen by Chanel for her “cosmopolitan spirit and artistic background.” It is the third time she will model for Chanel after fronting the campaign for its bestselling Allure fragrance in 1996 and Paris-Biarritz bag advertising campaign, shot by Karl Lagerfeld in 2007.

Kruger is now set to star in a new beauty campaign for the brand, to be unveiled later this year.
