Dior readies for summer

Parfums Dior (LVMH) is launching Dior Homme Eau for Men, a summer flanker to Dior Homme (2005).

Created by the company’s artistic director François Demachy, who also created the original, it has head notes of Calabrian bergamot, Moroccan grapefruit and Crimean coriander; heart notes of Tuscan iris and warm woods and base notes of amber and cedar.

“Dior Homme avoids every masculine cliché,” said Demachy. “It explores new masculine characteristics, directly and in more complex ways. Eau for Men is a fresh yet directly masculine fragrance. Its immediacy is its soul.”

Advertising for the new fragrance features Twilight actor Robert Pattinson. The campaign, in monochrome other than the bottle, was shot by Nan Goldin.

The fragrance is available in a 50ml and 100ml edt concentration, costing $62 and $84 respectively. It is currently available only at Macy’s but is available for pre-order via other selective perfumeries.
