Dior to use only Icelandic Glacial spring water

Optimal biological properties for skin care

Parfums Christian Dior has announced that it will be exclusively using Iceland Water Holdings’ Iceland Glacial water to hydrate its skin care products. According to Iceland Water Holdings, the water, which hails from the island’s Ölfus Spring, is exceptionally pure and offers optimal biological properties including brightening effects.

“For the first time, we have decided to take an inert ingredient present at strong concentration in cosmetic formulations, water and decided to replace it with a cosmetic active ingredient, Icelandic Glacial water,” commented president and ceo of Parfums Christian Dior, Claude Martinez.

Icelandic Glacial is produced using 100% natural green energy in the form of geothermal and hydroelectric power and is the world’s first Carbon Neutral certified bottled spring water.
