Dr. Bronner's, a US natural and organic soap and body care products company, has resigned from the Organic Trade Association (OTA), calling its involvement in the passing of a controversial labelling act “pathetic” and “self-serving”.

Dr. Bronner's is highly involved with campaigning for causes that it believes in, such as organic agriculture, fair trade and animal welfare, and recently campaigned for policies supporting fair pay for US workers.
