Egeria acquires Clondalkin Flexible Packaging

Egeria’s Partner Floris Waage said the private equity firm is “convinced” Clondalkin has attractive growth opportunities

Dutch-based private equity firm Egeria has acquired Clondalkin Flexible Packaging, with the deal expected to close in Q4.

Clondalkin is a flexible packaging provider across a number of consumer categories including home and personal care. It specialises in coated and laminated waxed papers and foils, pre-cut lids, polymer-based sheets, rolls, sleeves and bags.

The company has 11 manufacturing sites located in the UK, US, Germany, The Netherlands and Switzerland. Clondalkin supplies 45 countries globally and generates a turnover of roughly u400m.

Egeria’s Partner Floris Waage said the private equity firm is “convinced” Clondalkin has attractive growth opportunities. He said: "The company has a long history of delivering high value added products and putting its customers first."
