The skin care brand’s new Targeted Toning Body Moisturiser features a transformative texture designed to easily soak into skin

British skin care brand Elemis has released its new Targeted Toning Body Moisturiser (£69) to help consumers reduce the appearance of cellulite.

The product contains plankton extract, creates firmer-looking skin; Jania rubens, a calcified red algae which smoothes dimples; and nigiri salts containing magnesium chloride, that stimulates and firms skin.

The product is also said to help support the body’s cleansing process.

Co-founder Noella Gabriel claims the results are “groundbreaking”, she said: “This high performance, targeted body moisturiser gets to work on the ‘problem’ areas to refine, tone and smooth.”

The product’s texture transitions from a cream to an oil when applied.

Elemis recommends applying the product twice daily to skin using four methods in order to enhance results: massing in circular movements, pinching skin to activate circulation, cupping to stimulate drainage and firmly knuckling with a closed fist to crush cellulite bumps away.

The moisturiser will be available for consumers from May.
