Estée Lauder Companies UK & Ireland names first VP of Consumer Engagement and Retail

Lesley Crowther will fill the newly created role as the company continues its strategy to drive a better consumer experience

Estée Lauder Companies UK & Ireland (ELC) has named long-term employee Lesley Crowther as its first VP of Consumer Engagement and Retail.

The newly created role will see Crowther made responsible for merging ELC’s consumer engagement and retail strategies to create a better shopping experience for its consumers.

In the new position, Crowther will lead all corporate marketing activities, media strategies, consumer intelligence, cultural relevancy and corporate brand communications.

Having served the brand for 15 years, she started out as the company’s Advertising and Internet Co-ordinator before moving into a variety of marketing and managerial roles; across a number of ELC’s brands, including AERIN, Origins and Ojon.

Prior to this, she spent nearly two years at Universal Mccan Digital as L’Oréal’s Media Planner.

In her current role as UK Consumer Engagement and Strategy Director, Crowther is responsible for establishing ELC UK & Ireland’s first Consumer Engagement Centre of Excellence.
