Estée Lauder Companies appoints long-standing boss to head up UK & Ireland business

Sue Fox has spent 25 years with the French beauty giant working across its South Africa, Singapore, Japan and New York affiliates

Estée Lauder Companies has promoted its long-standing Director Sue Fox to Senior VP/General Manager of UK and Ireland.

Fox has 25 years’ experience with the beauty giant in a number of leadership roles.

For almost ten years she headed up the company’s South Africa affiliate and, most recently, served as General Manager in Japan.

She has also held roles with Estée Lauder Companies’ Singapore arm and its global headquarters in New York, US.

In her new position, she will report to the company’s Group President Cedric Prouvé.

He said: “Sue is a transformative leader possessing the strategic global business acumen, proven track record and expertise to effectively navigate today’s shifting consumer and competitive landscape.

“In addition, Sue is a true steward of our company’s culture and values, making her ideally placed to lead the UK and Ireland business, one of our most important markets, into the future.”

Fox will take up her new position on 1 January 2020.
