Beauty heavyweight is backing bricks-and-mortar with the opening of its new London cosmetics store

Beauty goliath and cosmetics owner Estée Lauder Companies (ELC) is backing beauty in bricks-and-mortar with the opening of a new London, UK, shopping destination.

The Cosmetics Company Store has opened in Fitzroy Place in the heart of the UK capital’s Fitzrovia district.

The new outlet will serve as the company’s number one London shopping destination, stocking products from across the company’s full-spectrum portfolio.

Clinique, MAC Cosmetics, Too Faced, Origins and Tom Ford Beauty are among the first brands to enter the space.

Under its beauty umbrella, ELC also leads La Mer, Bobbi Brown, Jo Malone London, Dr. Jart+ and Aveda.

“We are so excited to open our first central London Cosmetics Company store,” said Sarah Lynn, VP of Retail Channel for the beauty heavyweight, which celebrated 75 years in business this year.

“The Fitzroy Place outlet is a fantastic addition to our portfolio of Cosmetics Company Stores across the UK and we can’t wait to welcome customers and our community to shop their most loved ELC brands.”

Estée Lauder’s first-ever UK cosmetics store opened almost three decades ago at the exclusive Bicester Village outlet in Oxfordshire, which still exists today, alongside destinations from Clarins, Molton Brown and Rituals.

To date, the company, founded in New York, has a global retail reach of more than 150 shops.
