Germany’s sun care market may have shone the brighest in Europe in 2015, with value growth rocketing by more than 12%, but it had a much cloudier spell in 2016.
According to the World Meteorological Organization, the start of the summer was dominated by repeated thunderstorms and copious amounts of rain throughout June and July, and while it did experience a heatwave, this was not until the end of August.
