Fifth consecutive win for the company

Evonik Industries has been awarded as one of the 32 “China's Top Employers 2012” on December 20th, based on the independent research of the CRF Institute. Evonik has been awarded as China’s Top Employer for five consecutive years, which fully demonstrates the company’s continuous efforts in achieving best-in-class HR management.

“We are greatly honored to receive this recognition once again. Corporate responsibility is the core of our business. Evonik continues to develop in the interests of its key stakeholders, including our customer and employees. We will try our best to provide a good working environment and provide broader opportunities for development for our talents.” according to Dr. Hans-Josef Ritzert, Regional President Greater China.

At the grand award ceremony, Dr. Hans-Josef Ritzert, Regional President Greater China of Evonik Industries and David Li, HR Director of Evonik Greater China Region exchanged insights with management executives and HR leaders from other companies regarding various topics including the competition of talents, talent identification and development, creating competitive advantage in benefits, and employee caring.

The Top Employer award is designed by CRF since 1991 to identify and certify the front-runners in excellent HR management, based on the judging criteria in five categories, such as primary benefits, training & development, career development, secondary benefits & working conditions, and company culture. The selection follows strict selection process including four steps: shortlist, survey, review & audit, rating and selection.

This year, Evonik stood out to the awards committee and was given high scores for each category, especially in primary benefits and career development.
