More than 40% of perfumes were found to contain the allergy-inducing compounds, while beauty samples marketed as ‘perfume-free’ also included fragrances

'Excessive' levels of allergy-inducing fragrances have been discovered in cosmetic products sold in the EU, according to a study by the European Network of Official Cosmetics Control Laboratories (OCCLs).
