Beauty Bulb launched on January 2nd 2019

Beauty Bulb launched on January 2nd 2019 and was founded by Faye Speedie after she identified that the teams she was working with were in need of more than just expertise relating to sales growth.
Given the ever-growing costs and complexities that brands can face, it is not always possible to hire full-time, super star team members to manage every area of a growing business in its early stages. Beauty Bulb’s goal is to support brands with sales and commercial strategy and with building their teams and networks within the beauty space in a way that best suits them and their budgets.
Beauty Bulb enables brands to get in front of the right people, add missing skill-sets to their business and outsource some of the tasks which cannot yet be managed internally.
Brands can book anything from a one-day strategy session to short and long-term contracts over whatever time-period suits them and the costs are designed to be workable for all brands, including start-ups. Beauty Bulb is currently a team of 3 and plans are already in motion to add other services to their offering by the summer.
Faye started her career as Sales Producer at QVC Shopping Channel and she then spent 6 years as Global Sales Director of the world-famous Tangle Teezer hairbrush brand.
She led the team that grew sales from £500k to £28M in 5 years and worked across all channels including global retail, home shopping, online, travel retail, international distribution and numerous territories including The USA and China.
Faye has in-depth knowledge, experience and contacts that span across 12 years and across more than 20 beauty brands. Having worked alongside a number of leading skincare, haircare and cosmetics brands as well as founders, and having been a former team member at leading UK Private Equity House, Blue Gem, she understands and has herself experienced many of the hurdles that brands can face at different stages of their journey.
"In pretty much every project that I worked on, securing new distribution was only one piece of the puzzle. I was happily getting more involved in commercial projects and recruitment and I found myself constantly introducing owners and management teams to some of the brilliant people that I have worked alongside in areas such as Marketing, PR, Social Media, Content Creation, Website Creation, Legal, Packaging and Manufacturing and lots more.
"So, I decided to create a space that offered all of these things in a way that is designed to help brands save time and costs. I know, first hand, that you can’t always rush and hire your ideal Exec Team in full-time roles in years one or two. Beauty Bulb allows brands to connect with contacts that can help to drive their business forward more quickly, seek quality commercial support and develop their strategy in a way that they feel comfortable with’ - Faye Speedie
