Surfing will be represented for the first time at the next Olympic Games due to be held in Tokyo in 2020

Online beauty retailer Feelunique has announced it has signed a partnership with the GB Junior Surfing Team.

The partnership represents the first sporting collaboration for Feelunique. It is said to be especially poignant for the brand because one of the team’s members, 15-year-old Kitty Brewer, was born in Jersey in The Channel Islands, where Feelunique is headquartered.

Tom Newbald, Marketing Director, said: “At Feelunique we like to support local and emerging talent and Kitty is Jersey born, just like our company.

“We also feel it is important to support positive role models and the team represents this. We have 12 young people who work incredibly hard within their chosen discipline and who could be sporting stars of the future. “

Feelunique is following the eight boys and four girls that make up the team at the ISA Worlds competition in the Azores in Portugal from 17-25 September.

During the competition Feelunique will interview the youngsters and host the footage on its editorial platform The Lounge alongside beauty tips from the surfers.

The other team members include: Natasha van Greunen, Ellie Turner, Anna Jellema-Butler, Arran Strong, Jake Elkington, Will Baily, Spencer Bridges, Eno James, Kit Innes, Sonny Perrussel and Seth Morris.
