Ferragamo celebrates Tuscan heritage with new scents

Published: 8-Nov-2013

The latest fragrance collection from Italian fashion label Salvatore Ferragamo pays homage to the region of Tuscany, which is where the brand is headquartered. The new Tuscan Soul Quintessential Collection features four scents: Bianco di Carrara, Vendemmia, Viola Essenziale and Convivio.

Each fragrance is housed in a clear flacon featuring a cap made from ash wood for “an extra touch of elegance”, according to the brand. The outer packaging, meanwhile, consists of a “leather like” box with a built-in ash wood base that serves as a podium for each scent. Composed by Lucas Sieuzac, the floral-woody Bianco di Carrara combines neroli and white pepper with white vetiver and fig milk. Vendemmia, meanwhile, is composed by Fabrice Pellegrin and is said to pay homage to the practice of grape harvesting, blending Mediterranean fruits with sensual woods and jasmine flower.

Viola Essenziale, composed by Sonia Constant, celebrates the iris flower and blends iris with fruity hints and floral notes. Finally, the last of the collection, Convivio, was also created by Fabrice Pellegrin and blends fresh grapefruit with jasmine cypress wood and ambroxan. The collection goes on sale in November at selected Salvatore Ferragamo boutiques internationally. Each fragrance will be priced at €150.
