Firmenich and master perfumer scoop FiFi honours

The Fragrance Foundation recognises Firmenich and Fremont


Swiss fragrance house Firmenich and its master perfumer Harry Fremont have been awarded the Perfume Extraordinaire of the Year award at the US FiFis.

The honour is the only FiFi to be awarded to a fragrance house and its perfumer in recognition of the craftsmanship of fragrance creation and the olfactive vision of the perfumer. Fremont and Firmenich were awarded the title for their collaboration with Tom Ford Beauty for Tom Ford Grey Vetiver.

“Innovative, high-performance natural and synthetic ingredients inspire our perfumers every day. These materials drive the creative dialogue with our clients and, ultimately, with consumers around the world. We are honoured to have received this FiFi award for what is a truly great perfume that will stand the test of time,” commented Armand de Villoutreys, president of perfumery at Firmenich.
