With plans to roll out other stores in 2019, the new multi-sensory retail destination marks the start of the brand’s future retail expansion plans

Fragrance e-tailer Perfumania has opened its first concept store in Denver, US.

According to the brand, the new space provides a taste of what is to come as part of its future retail expansion plan.

The 900sqft space is designed to engage, educate and inspire customers about the world of fragrance.

“Our store at Denver Premium Outlets is the vision for our future retail locations,” said Chief Merchant for Perfumania, Nicole Anello Rose.

“Today’s retail climate presents challenges from an activation, creative and sales standpoint.

“As the consumer evolves, our brand is evolving to offer an elevated fragrance shopping experience.”

Inside, consumers can enjoy an immersive experience featuring a Discovery Hub and tools to help navigate an assortment of scents.

The store also features a Scent Gallery, where customers can explore over 40 fragrances and take home their favourite samples.

Scott Fuachex, Creative Director of Marketing firm OSK, designed the space to challenge the traditional approach to retail.

He said: “Our aim has been to create a flexible store concept that is simple, easy to navigate and ever-evolving so that the design can respond to customers’ need uniquely at store location.

“We used a warm palette to create an inviting atmosphere while allowing the colour stories of product and the seasonal artwork to periodically transform the space and give people a reason to return and see what’s new.”
