Fullips, a US company that manufactures lip enhancement tools, has spoken to Cosmetics Business about the steps it is taking to fix the damage its business has suffered from the 'Kylie Jenner Challenge'.

The challenge, which involves using drinks bottles or shot glasses to enlarge the lips by sucking into it in order to emulate Kylie Jenner’s iconic pout, went viral earlier in the year on Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat. However, the trend soon received criticism as many challengers experienced undesirable side effects such as bruising and prolonged or enlarged swelling.
