Genderless fragrance brand Kierin NYC launches

The new brand uses natural and sustainable ingredients that are cruelty-free

New genderless fragrance brand Kierin NYC has launched with four debut scents.

The brand is marketing its products through experiences and stories, rather than a person to attract keep inclusively and individuality at the centre of its ethos.

The four fragrances (US$78 each) include Santal Park, a woody scent; Sunday Brunch, with citrus notes; Highline Flirt, a floral fragrance; and Nolita Noir, with spicy and floral tones.

Co-founder Mona Maine de Biran said: “Kierin NYC is unlike conventional fragrance brands.

“We invite people to be inspired, not defined or confined, by our fragrances. We are passionate about consciousness, diversity and inclusion so those values are core to the Kierin NYC brand and not just presented as an afterthought.”

The other founders include Chris Rosasco, an artist and creative visionary behind the brand, and Didier Maine de Biran, husband of Mona.

All three founders have a background in the fragrance industry, primarily at Estée Lauder Companies, but also with BVLGARI and Puig.
