Gerresheimer opens India office

Extends local sales operations, customer services and technical services


Glass packaging supplier Gerresheimer has established a representative office in Mumbai, India as part of its ongoing expansion of global operations. As well as sales operations, the company intends to step up its local customer services and technical services.

“Our strategic objective is to achieve above average growth in the emerging markets,” said Uwe Röhrhoff, Gerresheimer ceo. “We currently generate around 10% of our revenues in these dynamically growing markets and we aim to double that figure over the next three years. Owning our representative office in India is an important step towards achieving this objective.”
