Gilchrist & Soames takes action following FDA investigation

Two shampoos and two shower gels were found to contain Pseudomonas aeruginosa

Bathroom and body care products manufacturer Gilchrist & Soames has spoken to Cosmetics Business about the action it has taken concerning the issues raised in a warning letter it received this month from the FDA.

The letter, dated 16 March, was sent to the President and CEO of Gilchrist & Soames, Kathie De Voe, in the US after investigators found “significant microbial contamination” in four of its bathroom products during an inspection during autumn 2015.
