Rouge D’Armani Matte is said to contain 50% more pigment than a traditional matte lipstick

Giorgio Armani beauty has introduced a new collection of matte lipsticks available in 18 shades.

Said to contain up to 50% more pigment than other matte lipsticks, the brand’s Rouge D’Armani (£30 each) is designed to achieve extreme colour.

The formula contains ester and jojoba oils, said to help keep lips hydrated and provide easy application.

Linda Cantello, Giorgio Armani International Make-up Artist, said: “The new formula of Rouge d’Armani Matte is remarkable and has taken everything to a new level: intensity of colour, long lasting, vibrant but matte and with a weightless comfort.

“Backstage, I can apply it hours before a show in the knowledge that it will stay put and models won’t big for lip balm.”

The products are available in six pinks, four reds, three nudes, two browns, two corals and one plum shade.
