The Swiss company's business units will now be known as Taste & Wellbeing and Fragrance & Beauty
Flavour and fragrance company Givaudan is renaming its existing Fragrance and Flavour divisions as Taste & Wellbeing and Fragrance & Beauty, respectively.
Implemented with immediate effect, the name change is said to align with Givaudan’s 2025 strategy, which reflects its expanded product offering under the tagline ‘Committed to Growth, with Purpose’.
Fragrance & Beauty, formerly the Fragrance division, is said to highlight the Geneva-based company’s global leadership in fragrances while also signalling its expansion into beauty.
Meanwhile, the new Flavour division name, Taste & Wellbeing, acknowledges its move into spaces adjacent to flavour and taste, while stressing its expertise in those original markets too.
“By reinforcing our leadership in fragrances, we want to become the creative partner of choice not only in personal, fabric, hygiene and home care but also in fine fragrance and beauty overall,” said Maurizio Volpi, Givaudan’s President, Fragrance & Beauty.
