The legalisation nationwide of recreational cannabis in Canada last October was a groundbreaking move – the first for a major western country – and one that may have significant implications for the beauty business from 17 October this year at the latest.

That is the deadline that the Canadian government has set itself to legalise the use of cannabis in topical products – including personal care lines – along with cannabis edibles and extracts.
