The natural and organic beauty retailer is set to introduce a personalised shopping experience for customers with added membership benefits

Beauty brand and retailer Green People has announced plans to launch a personalised online shopping programme.

Through e-commerce agency Gene, it will connect customers accounts with Google Home and Amazon Alexa, allowing them to check orders and make repeat purchases.

The programme will also offer customers incentives in return for engaging with content.

“We’re looking to create a bespoke and useful service for our customers to ensure they’re getting the most from the website,” said Stephanie Matson, Green People’s Marketing Manager.

She added: “We’ll provide them with timely information and products that are pertinent to their own experiences, skin and hair type.

“There isn’t a typical Green People customer and preferences change over time - people use our products from birth and throughout their lives. We’re drilling down to that level of detail.”

The site has undergone a revamp over the last 24 months, to give Green People more control over landing pages and online content.

The brand says this strategy has helped it to increase interactions interest with customers and build up its community.
