French beauty brand and salon chain Guinot has accused French conglomerate L'Oréal of industrial espionage.

The company’s CEO, Jean-Daniel Mondin, alleges that the corporate spied on Guinot staff in order to gain their expertise and use it for the benefit of L’Oréal brand Carita.

L’Oréal told Cosmetics Business that it strongly refutes the claims.
