HCT and Make Up For Ever dance to the tango
Packaing specialist creates limited edition Black Tango Palette for the beauty brand
Make Up For Ever’s limited edition Black Tango Palette is inspired by founder and creative director, Dany Sanz’s, love of Argentine Tango dancing.
Choosing an HCT stock airtight component to house the cream eyeshadows, the palette features a mirror and professional quality double-ended brush applicator for easy application.
Romayne Apcar, Managing Director HCT France comments: “The Design team at Make Up For Ever did a wonderful job creating the graphics, transforming the HCT stock airtight compact into an object of desire. HCT colour matched the four individual PP pots to each pearlised cream eyeshadow shade. The large mirror enables the consumer to apply the makeup using the double-ended professional quality brush. The luxury feel is continued with a black lace effect silkscreen decoration around the contour of the mirror, with the elaborate metallic effect heat transfer on the lid replicating a fan dotted with precious stones”.

I had already fallen in love with the graphics from the Make Up For Ever team and could not wait to see the result of our joint efforts. As always it was a pleasure working with the Make Up For Ever team, in particular Florianne Perrone with whom I worked closely on this project. The PP airtight containers were matched perfectly to the long lasting pearlised shadows. The elaborate decoration on the mirror and lid were flawlessly achieved despite the large surface area covered by the heat transfer. The end result is a luxurious, sublime palette that will appeal to makeup lovers of all ages”.
