The French hair care, styling and colourants retail market grew increasingly brittle in 2015, as further value was shaved off all sub-categories.
The mass market, which accounts for the lion’s share of sales, was hit particularly badly, shedding 2.2% in value terms to total €1.08bn, and 2.6% in volume to 265.65m units.
