Jo Hansford, whose clients include Angelina Jolie and Elizabeth Hurley, prepares to open dedicated space at the luxury chain’s Knightsbridge store

Harvey Nichols’ Knightsbridge store is underlining its presence as a one-stop shop for all beauty needs with a new hair care partnership.

Jo Hansford, the owner of a eponymous hair salon in Mayfair, whose client list includes Angelina Jolie, Elizabeth Hurley and Camilla, The Duchess of Cornwall, will be opening a concession at the famous store in November, offering a range of hair care and beauty services.

Harvey Nichols embarked on its strategy to become a trusted space for beauty and wellness treatments back in 2019, when it opened a dedicated floor at its Knightsbridge store.

Complete with treatment rooms from La Prairie, Elemis and Sisley, the services on offer are designed to benefit all areas of the body with exercise bikes and kegel thrones.

“The last year has given us the opportunity to carefully consider our customers and their expectations of Harvey Nichols,” said Manju Malhotra, Harvey Nichols CEO.

“The Jo Hansford approach, which is to offer clients beautiful, glamorous and wearable hair in a luxury salon environment, feels perfectly aligned with our customers.

“Both businesses are renowned for delivering outstanding customer service and bringing the two together presents a fantastic opportunity.”

Joanna Hansford, Managing Director of Jo Hansford, and the daughter of founder Jo, added: “Harvey Nichols and Jo Hansford are both synonymous with luxury, heritage and an incredibly loyal client base.

“Sharing the same core values, this is a natural partnership and we are absolutely delighted to be Harvey Nichols' salon of choice in the heart of Knightsbridge.

“We are incredibly excited to open our second London salon with such a trusted and admired retailer, and look forward to creating a beautiful, luxury destination salon. We cannot wait to welcome our first customers in November.”
