The new space is said to be double in size and will be home to more than 100 fragrance brands

Luxury retailer Harvey Nichols has expanded its in-store beauty experience by doubling the size of its Fragrance Room.

The 1,600sqft destination will be home to more than 100 fragrance brands, alongside in-store boutiques from Creed, Maison Francis, Serge Lutens and Kilian.

New store features include a sensory fragrance wall, workshops, as well as meet and greets with brand founders, and perfumers.

“Fragrance is a significant part of our business and since our 2016 ground floor refurbishment, we have outgrown the current area but are fortunate enough to move to a space double the size,” said Harvey Nichols’ Director of Beauty and Concessions Jo Osborne.

“The new department allows us to offer some of our bestselling brands an opportunity to create their own boutique space and the rest of the department to curate unique and fine fragrances from across the world, which we know our customers will love.”

The first phase of the development was opened early this month, but is expected to be complete by the end of March.

Osborne continued: “We are excited to work with new and existing brands to offer exclusive activities, such as expert consultations and welcome various brand founders such as Franics Kurkdjian and Geza Schoen.”

The previous fragrance room will be made into homes for three new beauty brands.
