Henkel focuses on emerging markets in €20bn sales drive

Henkel announced its 2016 target of generating €20bn in sales, of which the Düsseldorf-based manufacturer expects €10bn from emerging markets. Moreover its aim is to increase the percentage of employees in emerging markets from 55% in 2015 to 60% in 2016.

Currently Henkel is establishing seven new R&D centres in emerging markets including Russia, South Africa, Brazil and India. Additionally, Henkel expects that 12 out of 20 highest revenue countries will be in emerging markets.
