High Ridge Brands buys White Rain

Hair care and bathroom products brand acquired from Sun Products

High Ridge Brands, a subsidiary of Brynwood Partners VI, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the rights to the White Rain brand from The Sun Products Corporation. As part of the transaction, which is scheduled to close on 2 July, High Ridge Brands will also acquire the Adorn, The Dry Look, Mink and Toni brands. Terms and conditions were not disclosed.

White Rain, first introduced by Gillette in 1952 and available in the US, offers a diverse portfolio including shampoos, conditioners, body washes and hair styling products.

Commenting on the transaction, president and ceo of High Ridge Brands, James Daniels, said: “We look forward to integrating these brands into our portfolio of iconic brands which include Zest, Coast, Alberto Vo5 and Rave. We will revitalise the White Rain brand with a renewed focus on providing consumers with new and innovative value oriented products.”
