The natural and organic retailer will be judging start-ups at the Natural & Organic Products Europe 2017 in London

Beauty brands looking for a break into Holland & Barrett will have an opportunity to pitch in front of the retailer's CEO in April.

Following on from its launch in 2016, CEO Peter Aldis will sit on a panel alongside the retailer's senior buying team at Natural & Organic Products Europe 2017 due to be held on 2-3 April in London, UK.

In the Dragon's Den style theatre session, exhibiting companies will have an opportunity to pitch their new products and win over an audience full of visiting buyers and retailers in the process, who will cast votes that may help swing the judges’ decision.

They’ll also have to win over an audience full of visiting buyers and retailers in the process, as their votes may help swing the judges’ decision.

“As a business that has become known for bringing innovative trends to the high street, we were delighted to get the opportunity for another live pitch session at this year’s Natural & Organic Products Europe,” said Aldis.

“Last year gave us some great new talent, who now make up an important part of our business, so my expectations for this year are even higher.”

The Innovation Pitch Live is open to all companies currently booked to exhibit at Natural & Organic Products Europe 2017 (across all feature areas: The Natural Food Show, Natural Health, Natural Living, and Natural Beauty & Spa).

Last year Mrs O’s Fuss Free Mixes, Freshious Life & Beauty and Ibiza Superfoods were among the exhibitors presenting their pitches to Holland & Barrett.

Each are now working with the retailer closely by adding their products to its range of 8,000 skus.

Other buyers attending the show include major supermarkets, organic chains, e-commerce retailers and fashion retailers.

More than 10,000 attendees are expected to attend.
